Why we exist

Renting is hard enough without paying to access listings, fighting through fake postings, or rebuilding your application for every property. RentSelect collapses that into one free, focused experience.

What we do differently

• Free for renters, and free for landlords while we launch.Renters never hit a paywall or tiered access.
• Quebec is excluded by design. Quebec rental law (Law 25, RTA) requires a different product. We'll launch there only when we can do it right.
• No fake counts. Listing counts are real and review counts are real — we don't fabricate social proof.
• Every listing is checked. Our team reviews every new listing before it appears in search, and removes any that later break the rules. That check is not a guarantee — always view a property and verify who you are dealing with before paying anything.
• Two badges, two meanings. Listing verifiedmeans our team confirmed the details of that specific listing. Identity verified on a manager profile means the person behind the account completed identity verification. One never implies the other.
• Starting in Calgary, open across Canada. Landlords can list anywhere we operate, and every new listing is watched. Each city and community gets its own page once it has enough real listings to be useful.
